Dear all

We would like to officially announce that from Feb 07 onwards, our unit’s name (Young Working Adult) will be changed to Working Adult - PJ Central. Congratulations!! We are growing in our maturity to have the “Young” being removed. However, we will still cater the needs for those who are from their mid 20s onwards.

After restructuring, we would like to also announce that : we are going to welcome a few members from College group to join us, they are Set Yee, Justine, Carol, and Andrew. Welcome on board!! We hope to groom you to be a better salt and light working adult for Christ, don’t worry we will also take goooooooooooood care of you

Meanwhile, we are also going to farewell some of our members who are going to transfer to another unit and we wish them all the best and keep growing in Christ. They are Kok Mun, John, Danny, Way Wan, Weng Kit, Way See, Wan Ting, Wei Min, Ye Aun, and Raymond. We want to really appreciate them for their efforts & works in Christ, supports, encouragements, presence, sharing, and the list goes on and on. You have made the team a memorable one for us and thank you for your heart for Jesus. Keep the momentum up in your new unit. We will definitely miss you too….. We will never forget the times when we served together…. Thanks again. Anyway, we are still in this one big family of God.

For those who are remaining in the unit, we would like to appreciate you as well for the partnership in Christ. Without you, our unit will not grow to this level with strong commitment and initiative to serve God from all of you. Please keep it up for the good spirit and don’t forget to pass to our new generations. We are so proud of you.

At the moment, our unit will have 3 care groups, namely Peter, James and John (Jesus’ inner three). Hope you know which group you are in. If not, please look for your care group leader: Rekha, Jessie or Chee Lim for more information.

RECORD ATTENDANCE AT SUPERNATURAL SUNDAY

We thank God for his timing as Hope Malacca is sailing on the wave of revival. In the past 4 days we saw miracles upon miracles. Peter Truong was in Hope Malacca to conduct Everyday Evangelism, healing workshop and healing meetings (Supernatural Sunday & Tuesday). Our church attendance doubled on the Supernatural Sunday (Special healing meeting). We distributed 400 invitation brochures for supernatural Sunday to friends and contacts. We thank God for 90 people on Sunday which is double our regular church attendance of 45 people.

GOD PERFORMED MIRACLE HEALINGS

On Sunday we had people who came with wheelchair, oxygen tank, crutches and God performed miracles during prayer time. It was amazing to witness people who were paralysed by stroke and able to walk again. Two people got healed of eye sight problem and able to see clearly again.

On Supernatural Tuesday night, we had over 70 people came for the healing meeting. Again we saw God performed more miracles. A girl who was both deaf and mute was able to hear and talk after prayer. In the last 4 days we had about 20 people baptised in the Holy Spirit and 20 people accepted Christ. Many leaders and members were encouraged by the word of prophecy spoken by Peter Truong. We are excited to see the revival beginning to take place in Malacca. In the future we hope to bring this fire to the whole state of Malacca and beyond.

Julie Liew was able to speak after prayer

Being mute and deaf since birth was a burden for Julie’s parents. She was taken to many doctors, but the search for a cure was futile. The supernatural Tuesday in Hope Malacca was a significant day for her as the Lord healed her and she was able to speak and hear! Praise God!

Gan Kam was able to walk after prayer

God healed Gan Kam at Supernatural Sunday]

Gan Kam was not able to walk for a year due to a stroke that paralysed the entire right side of her body. As we laid hands on her, God healed her arm, leg, eyesight, and hearing – she no longer feels numb and is able to walk. She can also see with her right eye again and move her arms without aching.

Eric Xin got healed of breathing problem

Eric Xin walked into our church carrying an oxygen gas tank which he uses to compensate for his damaged lung. He also suffers from asthma. This caused him to frequently experience shortness of breath. He was healed after we prayed for him. Thank God, he can breathe much better now.

Lim Hem Pet was able to walk after prayer

Lim Hem Pet was healed from a stroke that paralysed his legs. As God’s power moved through him, he felt his leg muscles ‘loosen.’ Then, he was able to walk again.

Koh Boon Hiang was able to walk after prayer

Koh Boon Hiang cannot freely move his hands and legs due to a stroke. After prayer, he can now move.

Frederick got healed of car accident injury

Frederick has been suffering pain since a car accident a few years ago. He felt severe pain all over his body, especially in the joints. He also became easily tired and had to sleep twelve hours each day. God heard his prayer and the next day there was no longer any pain or tiredness.

Shirley Lim got healed of eyesight

Shirley Lim has an eyesight problem because something was blocking her vision. The Lord healed her after prayer and she can see much more clearly now.

Aaron Tan got healed of back pain & hearing

Aaron’s doctor diagnosed him as having a slightly crooked spine which caused severe backaches when he sleeps. His hearing was also partially impaired in one of his ears. After prayer, he was able to have a good night’s sleep and he felt no more pain. God also restored his healing.

Kebareileng got healed of appendix pain

An African student suffered severe pain from appendix and got instantly healed after prayer. She accepted Christ on the Supernatural Sunday.

A simple man tells how his booking an air ticket for his father, his
first flight, brought emotions and made him realize that how much we
all take for granted when it comes to our parents.
My parents left for our native place on Thursday and we went to the
airport to see them off. In fact, my father had never traveled by air
before, so I just took this opportunity to make him experience the same.
In spite of being asked to book tickets by train, I got them tickets on
lufthansa.

The moment I handed over the tickets to him, he was surprised to see
that I had booked them by air. The excitement was very apparent on his
face, waiting for the time of travel. Just like a school boy, he was
preparing himself on that day and we all went to the airport, right
from using the trolley for his luggage, the baggage check-in and asking
for window seat and waiting restlessly for the security check-in to
happen.

He was thoroughly enjoying himself and I, too, was overcome with joy
watching him experience all these things.

As they were about to go in for the security check-in, he walked up to
me with tears in his eyes and thanked me. He became very emotional and
it was not as if I had done something great but the fact that this meant
a great deal to him.

When he said thanks, I told him there was no need to thank me.

But later, thinking about the entire incident, I looked back at my life.

As a child how many dreams our parents have made come true. Without
understanding the financial situation, we ask for football, dresses,
toys, outings, etc. Irrespective of their affordability,they have
satisfied to all our needs. Did we ever think about the sacrifices they
had to make to accommodate many of our wishes?

Did we ever say thanks for all that they have done for us?

Same way, today when it comes to our children, we always think that we
should put them in a good school. Regardless of the amount of donation,
we will ensure that we will have to give the child the best, theme
parks, toys, etc. But we tend to forget that our parents have sacrificed
a lot for our sake to see us happy, so it is our responsibility to
ensure that their dreams are realized and what they failed to see when
they were young, it is our responsibility to ensure that they
experience all those and their life is complete.

Many times, when my parents had asked me some questions, I have
actually answered back without patience. When my daughter asks me
something, I have been very polite in answering. Now I realize how they
would have felt at those moments.

Let us realize that old age is a second childhood and just as we take
care of our children,the same attention and same care need to be given
to our parents and elders.

Rather than my dad saying thank you to me, I would want to say sorry
for making him wait so long for this small dream. I do realize how much
he has sacrificed for my sake and I will do my best to give the best
possible attention to all their wishes. Just because they are old does
not mean that they will have to give up everything and keep sacrificing
for their grandchildren also. They have wishes, too.

[Ps Simon Eng & Peter Truong at Friday Night Healing Workshop]

Pastor Simon Eng & Pastor Willie Tan from Hope PJ (Petaling Jaya), Malaysia invited Peter Truong to conduct a healing workshop and a healing meeting called “Supernatural Sunday” on 4 February 2007. Over 100 church members attended the Healing workshop where they learned various ways God healed people in the bible. We are thankful for the many prophecies, healings and Holy Spirit baptisms that took place during the workshop.

[Many people came to experience the power of God at Supernatural Sunday]

Hope PJ had a record church attendance of 345 people for “Supernatural Sunday”. Members invited friends to witness the power of God through healing. Before preaching the message, Peter Truong invited those who got healed on Friday night to come on stage and testify. The healing testimonies really built the faith of the people at the meeting. Then, Peter Truong shared a message on ‘How to release the power of God”.

During the altar call, 8 people came forward to accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Many people came forward to receive prophecies, healing and Holy Spirit baptism. It was wonderful to see the power of God unleashed on “Supernatural Sunday”. An African man got healed of his hearing problem. Pastor Willie and the leadership team also laid hands on handkerchiefs for members to give to their friends, family and relatives for healing.

God healed Michel of deafness

My left ear has been deaf for 7 years. I just depend on my right ear to listen. After being prayed for, I’m able to listen with both ears now.

God healed Natalie of arthritis psoriasis

I suffered from an incurable form of autoimmune disease (arthritis psoriasis) that has progressively worsened over the past 4 years. The symptoms were: joint pain, muscle swelling all over the body all day long. The doctor said that I have to live with this disease for the rest of my life. After prayers, as I claimed God’s faith, I felt the release of pain from my upper body. Since the prayer meeting, I have stopped taking pain killers because God has healed me.

God healed Set Yee of a cyst in the womb

In Oct 2006, I went to visit a gynecologist. The doctor told me that there was a cyst in my womb and the size was 2.8cm x 3.4cm . He said if it grew larger than 3cm x 3cm, I’ll need to go for surgery to remove it. After prayers on Friday night, I went for my second check up and the doctor confirmed that the size of the cyst became smaller. It is now 2.6cm x 1.96cm which is half of the original size. Thus, I don’t need to go for any surgery.

God healed Angela & she accepted Christ

I suffer from arthritis pain all over my body; especially in my neck and shoulder area. I have to take pain killers everyday. This morning, I came without taking any painkillers but after being prayed for, my whole body felt lighter and relieved from pain. I have received Jesus as my Savior on Supernatural Sunday.

God healed Soe Kian of knee pain

Recently, I experienced pain in my right knee whenever I walked long distance, stood for too long or wore high heeled shoes. While praying for others to be healed, I felt a warm sensation flowing from my hand and head to my knees. I felt the warmth; like a burning fire, in my knees for the whole night. God touched me and my knee was totally healed.

I got filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues non-stop on Friday night. Latter, I found that the pain in my legs were gone. The pain in my lips caused by ulcers and red spots also went away.

My name is Ps Kit Siang from Hope Serdang, Malaysia. On Monday, January 29, Peter Truong came and ministered at our church prayer meeting. After the praise and worship session, Peter began to prophesise to all the leaders and to some members as the Spirit led him. The leaders and members were touched by the Holy Spirit and strengthened by God. After the prophetic session, Peter shared from the Word of God about “An Empowered Life. He encouraged the church to receive power from the Holy Spirit for daily living and serving God. The members were also encouraged to be filled with the Holy Spirit and exercise spiritual gifts given by God.

[Peter Truong sharing about Walking with Holy Spirit]

At the end of the teaching, Peter Truong gave an altar call for healing and baptism of the Holy Spirit. 13 brothers and sisters came forth and the church began to lay hands on them and pray. Praise God! 3 people got healed instantly. God healed 2 people of back pain from previous injuries and abnormal spinal vertebra since childhood. One person got healed from a lump on her neck. In addition, 3 people were baptised in the Holy Spirit! We were all amazed at the power of the Holy Spirit at the prayer meeting. Please keep our church in your prayer as we believe God for more signs and wonders so that people will come to know the reality of Christ.

God healed Yung Wei of abnormal growth on neck…

I had a lump/abnormal growth on my neck for a number of years and it became smaller and the pain disappeared after prayer. Then a few days latter, the lump went away.

God healed Evelyn Wong of back pain

Ever since secondary school, I had discovered that my back was always in pain, but I just ignored it. I continued to live my life without care for my back, but the consequences is; I had to bear the great pain whereby I just can’t explain by words, something like my back bone nerve being pierced by nails. The doctor told me that I have Scoliosis or the sideways curvature of the spine.

During the prayer, I felt someone touch my forehead, and my body starting to feel release. I felt like I could stand without feeling any stretching or pain in my back anymore. He healed me immediately after that prayer. I no longer experienced any pain or compression in my back and I felt very comfortable, even though I was standing at the time. I know that God really heard my cries. I know that He is my heavenly Father, and I know he doesn’t want to see me bear the pain alone.
